Flores y recetas – Flowers and recipes

For our 4 years celebration, I wanted to cook something different. I found out this tuna cake recipe in Ociore blog. It looked so gorgeous that I made up my mind and did it. It´s really easy and beautiful cake. As dessert, I chose a recipe from free newspaper HeraldAm. It was a Chocolate Chip and Orange loaf. For first time, I got a perfect loaf and it was delicious.

These are the recipes:

Tuna Cake

Ingredients:

3 eggs
1 liquid cream brick.
3 bread slice (in milk soaked)
2 tbsp tomate sauce
4 tune in sunflower oil tins (remove the oil of just one of the tins)
Saison with black pepper.
How to make:

1. Mix all the ingredients in a blender machine. Transfer to a tin (already greased).
2. Bake for 40 minutes at 180º C or 200ºC, durante 40 minutos.
3. Leave to cool a little in the tin for about 10 minutes, then turn out from the tin.
4. Decorate with mayo, peppers or crabs and prawns.
Chocolate chip and orange loaf

Ingredients:

225 g Self raising flour
110 g Caster sugar
Rind of 1 orange
150 ml orange juice
2 eggs
3 tbsp sunflower oil
110 g chocolate chips
How to make it:

1.- Pre-heat the oven to 180º. Grease and base line a 900 g tin.
2.- Sieve the flour and caster sugar into a mixing bowl. Stir in the orange rind.
3.- In a separate bowl, beat together the orange juice, eggs and sunflower oil (I used olive oil instead and it was gorgeous). When the mix is blended, add to the dry ingredients and gently stir until everything is combined. Finally, stir in the chocolate chips.
4.- Transfer to the prepared tin and bake for about 45 minutes or until a skewer or knife comes out clean.
5.- Leave to cool a little in the tin for about 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire tray and leave until completely cold.
It was a really good special dinner and as drink we chose a bottle of wine. It was a special day!

Agent Provocateur

September 23rd, 2007 by Cornflakegirl

Last month, I took part in a Agent Provocateur shop contest (I can´t help myself, it´s my favorite lingerie shop) and I won! This is the first time I won a contest and on Monday I received my prize. Below you can see it. It´s the new parfum Strip and with a name like that, the only thing could match was a strip tease kit (fishnet hold ups, tasseled pasties, lips and nipples balms, sexy pants and a cd with very sexy songs). What else can I ask for?
