El 23 de Septiembre saldrá a la venta la colección limitada que ha diseñado Dita von Teese para Wonderbra. Serán prendas glamurosas, inspiradas en los años cuarenta como la imagen pin-up de Dita. Os dejo un par de imágenes de adelanto y como se puede ver ¡son muy sexys!
On 23rd September the Limited collection “Wonderbra by Dita” will be launched. They will be glam garments, inspired by 40´s years like vintage Dita´s look. I leave you with a couple of images of her fab collection. As you can see, they are so hot!

Después de dos horas en autobús, llegamos al Marlay Park pero allí debido a la mala organización, tardamos otra hora más en entrar al recinto por lo que perdimos casi toda la actuación de Tenacious D. Vimos apenas unas seis canciones y eran brutales en concierto. Sencillamente geniales. Jack y Kyle hacen un tándem perfecto pero la banda que traían no les dejaban detrás.
After two hours by bus, we arrived in Marlay Park but there, due to the organization, we had to wait for another hour until get into the concert and because of that, we almost missed all Tenacious D´s gig. We hardly attended six songs and they were so brilliant. Simply awesome. Jack and Kyle are the perfect tandem but their band were very good as well.
Nunca había visto a Metallica en concierto y después del mosqueo que tenía, de un retraso de 45 minutos, no pensaba darles muchas oportunidades no obstante me ganaron por completo. Su experiencia y su buenhacer, me dejaron sin argumentos. Me gustaron muchísimo, tanto las canciones como el espectáculo que montaron. Hetfield sabe comunicarse muy bien con el público, fue cálido y cercano. El nuevo bajista es muy bueno y aunque al principio se le vio muy integrado, terminó el concierto un poco retirado a su bola. Supongo que necesita más conciertos con ellos. Lars y Kirk muy compenetrados con Hetfield. Tocaron prácticamente todas las canciones de sus primeros álbumes y me emocioné con el Master of Puppets y con One especialmente.
I´ve never attended a Metallica´s gig before and as I was so pissed off, a 45 min delay, I wasn´t in the right mood however when they started playing, they made me change my mind. Their experience and their performance left me without words. I liked them a lot, I enjoyed the songs and the show. Hetfiels knows how to communicate with the audience, he was warm and friendly. The new bass player was very good. Although during the beginning of the show he was part of the band, at the end he was playing more apart. I think he needs more gigs with the rest of the band. Lars and Kirk worked very well with Hetfield. Their setlist were almost from their earlier albums and I got very excited with Master of Puppets and One. I didn´t expect them in that setlist.
No obstante, no creo que vuelva a ir al Marlay Park y mucho menos entre semana.
Anyway, I don´t think I would go to any gig in Marlay Park and at least, not in a working day.

El pasado fin de semana estuvimos en Cork. El sábado vimos la ciudad y el domingo visitamos el castillo de Blarney y la carcel de Cork. Fue breve pero inteso. Estuvimos en un B&B muy bueno, se llama Fernroyd House al lado de la Universidad. Si vais a Cork, os lo recomiendo. Nos gustó mucho la ciudad, pequeñita pero con rincones muy especiales. No, no besamos la piedra asi que no fuimos dotados con el don de la elocuencia aunque según las malas lenguas yo no me callo ni bajo el agua, así ¿para qué más?
Last weekend we´ve been in Cork. On Saturday we saw the city center and on Sunday, we visited Blarney Castle and Cork´s gaol. It was short but good. We spent one bight in a fantastic B&B named Fernroyd House next to the University. If you drop by Cork, you should go there, I recomment it to you all. We really liked Cork, small but with special places. No, we didn´t kiss the stone so we didn´t get the gift of gab but rumours has it that I can keep talking even under water so, do you really think I need it?
El jueves 31 de julio, Tom Waits tocó el día de mi cumpleaños. Tras unos problemas con las entradas, conseguimos ir y no podía creermelo: ¡iba a ver a Tom Waits en directo!. La gira se llamaba “Glitter and doom” y para ella, Tom Waits diseñó una carpa dando un aspecto de un vodeville de los años cuarenta más que de un concierto en el siglo XXI. No obstante, el sonido fue inmejorable, la banda impresionante y él, cálido y cercano.
Tom Waits was in Dublin on my birthday and I could attend his gig. After some issues with the tickets, we got them and went: I couldn´t believe it! I was about to attend the Tom Waits´gig! My first one! The tour was named Glitter and Doom and for ir, he designed a tent that it made the gig looked like more a 40´s Vodeville than a XXI century concert. However, the sound couldn´t be better, the band, impressive and Waits, friendly and warm.
Los temas, al contrario de lo que había pensado, fueron de casi todos sus álbumes no sólo del último, Orphans. El concierto, casi tres horas de duración, fue alternando ritmos más rápidos con sus blues más densos manteniendo al público en sus manos. Cuando se sentó al piano, casi como confidencias, Tom empezó a contar historias. Siempre le admiré como intérprete y músico, pero tras verle en directo, admito que es todo un show man. Sabe transmitir y lo hace con el acierto que da la experiencia.
The songs, unlike I´ve thought, they were from all his albums not only from the last one, Orphans. The gig, almost three hours, was mixing faster rhythms with his more weighty blues always keeping the audience on his hands. When he sat down to the piano, almost like a chitchat, Tom starts telling us stories. I´ve always admired him as a musician and an artist, but now after seeing him live, he is a show man indeed. He does know how to tell and he does it perfectly due to his all experience.
De momentos destacables, me gustaría mencionar cuando el público cantó con Waits Innocent when you dream y el último tema, Make it Rain. Tras el último tema, la banda se retiró pero tras la insistencia del público, nos deleitaron con tres temas más.
As special moment, I´d like to remark when the audience sang together with Tom Innocent when you dream and the last song, Make it Rain. After this last one, the band left the stage but after several minutes begging for more, they played 3 songs more.
Hay gente que se quejó de que el repertorio no eran los temas que ellos querían pero si durante los tres días que estuvo en Dublín, cambió canciones para que no fueran exactamente iguales y no repitió ninguna de sus historias; a mi me parece que se trabajó mucho cada puesta en escena.
There are some people that complaint about the setlist because it didn´t include the songs that they wanted but, during the three days that he was in Dublin, he changed songs to make all the shows different and he didn´t repeat any of his stories. I do think he worked hard on each show.
Lo único que no me gustó fue que la gente del público se estuvo levantando y moviendo durante todo el concierto. Es una falta de respeto con el artista y con los demás asistentes.
The only thing I didn´t like was the audience. Many people was coming and going out during all the concert. It´s a lack of respect to the artist and to the other people attending the gig.
