La Praga de Kafka nos espera. Quizás no lleguemos nunca, quizás esté escondida en una buhardilla o quizás sólo sea un rumor de lo que la gente habla pero nadia la ha visto.
Kafka´s Prague is waiting for us. Maybe we never won´t reach there, maybe it´s hidden in an attic or maybe it´s just a rumor about whose people talks but nobody hasn´t seen it.

Hace unas semanas incluí una nueva sección en mis links: Tips & Tools, donde estoy añadiendo links que encuentro interesantes y no quiero perderlos. Hay un poco de todo: desde libros de inglés para preparar diversos exámenes, expats en Canadá y ahora he añadido una radio gratuita en francés que, junto con el periódico Le Figaro, nos está viniendo muy bien para preparar el examen

A few months ago, I included a new section in my links sidebar: Tips & Tools. There, I´m adding all the links which I find interesting and I don´t want to lose them. You can find site with English books for preparing official exams, blogs by expats in Canada and from now on, there is a French free online radio site. This one, with french newspaper Le Figaro, are very helpful for preparing
TCF exam.
En la sección le cinéma, esta semana hemos visto
L´empire des loups y
Peur(s) de noir. Me gustó la complejidad de la primera aunque el desarrollo fue un poco flojo aunque el final es muy bueno. Y la segunda son varias historias de animación. Me gustó mucho la última de ellas porque me recordaba mucho a Poe.
For le cinéma section: this week we have watched
L´empire des loups and
Peur(s) de noir. Regarding to the first movie, I liked its complex plot. Although its development was a little bit slow, I like the end. About the second movie, it was some short animation stories. I liked the last one because it reminded me of Poe´s ones.
Y en otro orden de cosas, me ha llegado la confirmación del Registro de la propiedad intelectual. Mis haikus ya están registrados y ahora a buscar una editorial que esté interesada.
And talking about other things, I´ve just received the confirmation from the copyright office. So now my haikus are copyrighted and it´s time to search a Publishing Company interested in publishing them.

He empezado a prepararme mi examen de francés y para ello he estado alquilando películas en la biblioteca de la
Alliance Française. Las dos primeras me han gustado mucho. La primera,
la pianista, ha sido una historia tortuosa de amor entre una profesora de francés y un alumno. Estremecedora. La segunda,
Paris Je t´aime, era un conjunto de historias cortas que sucedían en Paris. Las historias que más me han gustado han sido la de los
hermanos Coen y la de
Tom Tykwer. Os dejo la historia de éste último.
I´ve started preparing my french exam and for it, I´ve borrowed some movies from
Alliance Française´s library. The first two movies have been fantastiques and I enjoyed them a lot. The first one,
The pianiste, was a disturbing love story between a piano teacher and a student. Stunning. The second one,
Paris Je t´aime, was 18 short stories that happened in Paris. I loved
Coen brothers´ and
Tom Tykwer´s stories. I leave you with Tom Tylwer´s one.
