Filament

In a mainly masculine world, it´s not unlikely that erotica and pornography were focused on them and their likes. However, everyday there are more women who (we) search and claim for items for us. We can count on magazines likes Playgirl and Syzygy or movies by Erica Lust. Another example of this trend is new genre for the occidental market like Yaoi.

In my view, as a Erotica literature fan, it has been very hard to find a magazine that matches up to my erotic and writing expectations; however few months ago I found a publication that is the perfect mixture (high writing quality with hot pictures). Its name is Filament although it has only three published issues (now four), her editor Suraya Sidhu Singh is working very hard to keep on improving it. In this magazine, we could find articles about different subjects since porno movies, photography, WWF, literature or interviews with well known people like Warren Ellis, Steve Forrest or Erika Lust.

Filament is a very interesting project that just started and I highly recommend it to you. Maybe instead of complaining about a male-oriented sexuality, women should search or even create our own erotica.

I agree with your last paragraph!

I’m a newbie in erotic literature, but why not?

    Zhu, thanks.

As French, I think you have in your mother tongue cinema and literature beautiful examples like Anais Nin. :D
