Llevo cinco años viviendo en Dublín desde el día catorce y aunque es una ciudad pequeña, sigue descrubriéndome rincones desconocidos, amigos nuevos y sueños por los que luchar. Mudarme aquí ha sido la mejor decisión que he tomado nunca.
Since last 14th of January, I’ve been living in Dublin for five years so far and although it’s a small place, it keeps on showing me unknown places, new friends and dreams to fight for. Moving to here is the best thing I’ve ever done.

In treatment es una de las series que más grata y profundamente me ha impresionado en estos últimos meses. Si bien el guión es bastante sencillo, cada capítulo es una sesión de terapia con un paciente, las historias de cada uno de los personajes y del propio psicólogo se desarrollan y se mezclan hasta engancharte por completo. Me gustaría destacar las interpretaciones de Gabriel Byrne y de Diane Wiest; como Paul y Gina respectivamente. Simplemente se salen. El último episodio es demoledor.
In Treatment is one of the most interesting and surprising drama that I’ve recently watched in the last few months. Although the plot is quite simple (a therapy hour with a pacient in each episode) their particular stories and lives are developping and envolving the psychotherapist’s life making you coming back for more. I would like to highlight Gabriel Byrne’s and Diane Wiest’s perfomances. They are superb! And the last episode is shocking.

Revisando los propósitos del año pasado y haciendo balance, tengo que decir que he cumplido casi todos. Por un lado he seguido mejorando mi Inglés y aunque no me examiné del 12º grado del Trinity College, sí lo hice del 11º y lo pasé así que este año toca ir a por el último grado. ¡Crucemos los dedos! En cuanto al CPE, estoy a la espera de los resultados. Aunque este año empieza con el IELTS. Parece que todos los años, o al menos, estos tres últimos empiezan con examenes de inglés.
Coming back to my last year resolution, I must admit that I’ve done a lot of them. On one hand, I’ve kept on improving my English and although I didn’t take the 12th Trinity College ESOL grade, I did the 11th and I passed it! Now I’m waiting for CPE results (fingers crossed!). So this year, I will take the last grade. However, this years starts with another examen: IELTS. It seems that every year starts with an English exam (or at least, the last three years).
Pero dejando la parte académica a un lado, también terminé el primer borrador de mi novela y ahora el propósito de este año es corregirlo y redactarlo mejor. Seguir escribiendo poesía, corregir mi poemario de haikus y seguir escribiendo relatos cortos. También me gustaría leer un poco más que el año pasado.
But leaving the examns apart, this year I finnished my first novel draft and the resolution for this year is editing and re-writing it again. I would like to keep on writing poetry, editing my haiky poetry book and writing short stories; and reading a little bit more this year.
Este año vamos a planear nuestro viaje de luna de miel y me hace muchísima ilusión. Ya iremos contando a medida que lo vayamos haciendo.
This year we will start planning our honeymoon trip and I just can’t wait! I will keep you posted.
Y por último pero no por ello menos importante, quiero disfrutar de cada día de este año y ser feliz (al menos tanto como el año pasado y a ser posible, más).
And for last but not least, I want to enjoy every single day of this year and be happy, at least as happy as last year or even happier!
