¿Qué demonios es decluterring? Es una palabra anglosajona que significa eliminar objetos innecesarios. Desde el pasado mes de Julio, estoy haciendo limpieza tanto en Madrid como en Dublín, tratando de simplificar mi vida hasta hacerla lo más ligera posible. No me refiero sólo a mudanzas sino también de una forma más personal. Me estoy deshaciendo de recuerdos y obigaciones autoimpuestas que sólo hacían que mi días fueran más pesados. Como me dijo una amiga una vez, al fin y al cabo sólo tenemos dos manos y hay que elegir qué se va contigo y qué ha de quedar atrás.

What the hell is decluterring? It means “remove unnecesary objects”. Since last July, I’m cleaning up at home in Madrid and in Dublin as well. I’m trying to simplify my life to o make it as lighter as possible. I’m not talking only about physical objects but also about in a personal point of view. I’m getting rid of heavy memories and selfimposed duties that were making my life miserable. Like a friend told me once, at the end of the day we only have two hands and we should choose carefully what to carry with us and what to leave behind.

Llevo unas semanas creando unos personajes para una historia que probablemente sea mi segunda novela. Aunque en muchos estudios se considera la creación de personajes de ficción como pequeñas partes del escritor, dotarles de una voz propia es un proceso lento, complicado y que requiere mucho trabajo. ¿Y en cuanto al físico? ¿Recurrís a personajes públicos? ¿Amigos? Suelo fijarme en todo tipo de imagenes ya sean en comics, películas, telediarios o anuncios. ¿Qué es lo más difícil que te resulta a la hora de hacer un personaje?
