The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore

Books are no longer things but close friends, travel mates, voices from unknown places, imposible worlds to discover. My life wouldn’t be the same without books and I can’t imagine a biggest loss than not being able to read.

Maybe it’s the mid-life crisis, maybe it’s just that I don’t want to wait any longer. On Monday, I will start a Graphic design course and from that, everything can change… or not. Meanwhile, I’m going to enjoy every single piece of it.

This is an invocation for beginnings. It’s very inspiring. I do recommend it to you all.

I’ve recently read the book “On writing” by Stephen King and his main tips are reading a lot and writing a lot. I’ve always been an avid reader but now, in my adulthood, it’s a matter of time but even with just a little time, I keep on reading as much as I can. What about you?

At the moment, I’m reading some theater play to improve my dialogues.

Me marché de España buscando una mejor calidad de vida. En Madrid, alcanzar un equilibrio entre mi vida laboral y personal parecía imposible. Después de 6 años en Irlanda puedo decir que es posible encontrar lo que se busca pero se han de correr riesgos, aprovechar oportunidades y mantener los pies en el suelo. I left Spain searching a better quality of life. In Madrid, a balance between my job and my life seemed hard to find. After 6 years in Ireland, I can tell that you can find what you’re searching for but for that, you should take some risks, seize the day and keep your feet on the floor.

Emigrate is not a solution but a bet. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose things that you find out that they are more important that you expect them to be.

During these years, I’ve met people, some of them were terrific and some other didn’t deserve a second of my attention. I’ve been in places where I felt tiny but they enlarge my soul. I’ve done things I’ve never done before.

Moreover, I’ve learned a lot. I’ve learned a lot about myself.
